This project is my adaptation of Eugene Field’s poem Norse Lullaby. The result is a gentle bedtime book that follows a sandman-like owl as he glides through the forest, lulling creatures to sleep with his magical, glowing feathers and soothing refrain. The lyrical text is paired with flowing illustrations that celebrate the quiet magic of the natural world.
This next project follows my dog, Kit, on a wordless nighttime adventure as he sneaks away to perform in a secret dog circus. Blending the nocturnal charm of Night Lunch (2022) with the wordless whimsy of The Midnight Fair (2021), offering readers a playful and surreal romp into the world of moonlighting mutts.
